This special "Case Saver" fitting has longer threads that are slightly tapered so that they will tighten securely into transmission cases that may be worn or damaged. The T86996BR also has two O-rings inside for a better seal and a groove on the outside of the fitting that allows a special retaining clip to be used to hold both the line and fitting together. Thread Size 1/4 -18 NPT (male) to 3/8" Tube - Quick Connect (female)
